The COVID-19 pandemic, followed by the Iron Swords War, brought to the forefront of public discourse the relevance and complexity of mental health and psychological care. These events highlighted the challenges faced by the mental health system, often operating with limited resources, as well as the personal, social, and national difficulties that arise in such contexts.
In our lab, these issues are explored through diverse research methodologies (quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods) and using approaches and tools from the fields of philosophy, law, and psychology.
Current projects focus on the various implications of integrating generative artificial intelligence technologies into the healthcare system, including the domains of welfare and mental health. Other studies examine the influence of psychological traits and conditions on health-related behaviors, as well as the balance between different rights of individuals coping with mental health challenges, particularly as reflected in issues such as treatment and involuntary hospitalization.
